Sometimes, life shatters without warning. A painful loss, a traumatic event, a relationship falling apart, or a moment that leaves you feeling shaken, unsafe, or completely overwhelmed. Maybe you’re struggling to breathe through the panic. Maybe the tears won’t stop. Maybe you’re just trying to hold it together, but inside, everything feels like it’s spiraling.
Crisis counseling is here for the moments when everything feels like too much.
If you’re saying things like:
I feel like I’m falling apart.”
“I don’t know what to do.”
“I just need someone to talk to right now.”Y
You’re in the right place.
Crisis counseling is short-term, focused support for being overwhelmed, lost, or experiencing major life disruption. If you’re feeling stuck, scared, or unsure of what to do next, crisis counseling can help you stabilize and take the next step.
We provide compassionate, calm, clear support when life feels overwhelming. We don’t expect you to have answers or feel strong because we meet you where you are. Our focus is to help you feel safe, seen, and supported and to connect you with the internal and external resources you need to take the next step.
When in crisis, you may not know exactly what you need—just that something has to change. At the Center for Wellness Encounters, we meet you in that space with steadiness, compassion, and practical support.
Here’s what you can expect:
A timely response. We do our best to schedule you quickly, often within 24–48 hours, because we know crises can’t wait.
A calm, judgment-free space. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear story. Whether you’re overwhelmed, shut down, anxious, or angry—you’re welcome here.
Support that meets the moment. We focus on helping you feel more grounded and supported right now. That might include talking through what happened, calming intense emotions, or creating a plan for safety and next steps.
Practical tools you can use immediately. You’ll leave with something tangible—a calming strategy, a way to reach out for help, or a simple next step to help you feel more in control.
Help connecting to ongoing care if needed. Crisis counseling is often a starting point. If you need continued support, we’ll help you get connected to the right resources.
